Above and Beyond students

This google form is to be used to nominate students who demonstrate qualities of going "above and beyond" in academics, effort, kindness, growth/maturity, or perseverance. Nominations will be considered by the Above and Beyond committee and a group of students will be decided on for recognition. All teachers are urged to participate.

School District Awards Contract for New Building

"The Franklin County School District is excited to announce the plans to build a Middle School Gym to replace the gym demolished earlier this year along with Building A. This project has been planned for several years and is now becoming a reality. The facility will have dressing rooms and a basketball gym downstairs as well as two classrooms and an office upstairs. The facility will be utilized by Middle School Physical Education classes as well as multiple sports as a practice facility. I want to thank our School Board members for their support in providing this much needed facility for our student body. Construction should begin soon and be completed by the middle of July 2020."

Assembly during 5th and 6th on Thursday December 19th
Assembly and makeup exams after lunch on Friday December 20th

Archery Tryout Information

Time’s quickly approaching to let the arrows fly!
Archery tryouts for all NEW students will be held November 20, 2019 from 3:30 – 4:30 pm at the elementary gym.
MANDATORY practices will be held November 18 & 19 for all NEW students. Elementary will practice from 3:30-4:30. Middle school and high school will practice from 4:30-5:30 at the elementary gym.

Public Announcement

Public Announcement: On September 24, 2019 the Franklin County School District will conduct a district-wide safety drill. This drill will involve local law officials, ambulance services, and MEMA officials. The purpose of this drill is to prepare the Franklin County School District and local officials to respond efficiently in the event that these services are needed. This is NOT a time for community “sight-seers”. The Franklin County School District takes the safety of our students and staff very seriously and we will continue to train to provide a safe environment to the best of our ability.

The 2019-2020 Student Handbook is now available on the FCSD homepage. Just click the "Student Handbook" link. The 2019-2020 handbook contains a lot of new information such as student dress code, graduation requirements, as well as new promotion requirements in the lower elementary and the upper elementary.
